Itchy Skin
Here’s a testimonial from a happy customer:
“To Whom it may concern:
I am writing to order more of your Thentix skin conditioner which I originally bought at the Garden Show in Toronto in March.
It has done wonders for my Dad’s itchy skin (due to his Diabetes). He no longer scratches (causing open areas in his arms and legs). His skin looks great.
Also, I got my first dose of poison ivy this year and decided to try the Thentix on it. It not only stopped the itching but it is healing it more quickly. I wish I could afford to buy several jars but for now I will buy two.
Thanks for a great product.
Sincerely,
Deb”
Ouch – My Heels Hurt!
I love the beach but it can dry out your skin. Sunburn and cracked heels. Wearing sandals or bare feet can dry out the skin and result in the skin cracking on the backs of the heels. This can get quite painful. Put some Thentix Skin Conditioner on the affected parts a couple of times a day. Before bed is good. This will sooth and help heal the skin. If you have some way to pull the skin together – a bandage or something at night – that could help too. I had someone tell me that they used SuperGlue for this as well or Miracle Glue. I don’t know – check with the doctor on that one. You can check out more uses for this amazing skin lotion but if you you have cracked heels from dry skin, you can read up more about it here: Cracked Dry Heels
Thentix: A Gardening Hand Cream
We have found one of our largest markets to be gardeners. Thentix is very popular at Flower and Garden shows. If you are doing any amount of gardening at all, you are probably washing your hands more than the average person. As wonderful as it is digging in the dirt, it works into the pores and to keep your hands clean you will tend to wash them more often. The soaps and water that you use also tend to dry out your skin. If you are gardening early or late in the season, you have the added factor of the cold to make things worse. Your skin can easily get dry and cracked. It’s not always easy or practical to wear gloves. It would be nice to have something to put on your hands to help the skin retain moisture. Honey does just that.
One of the properties of honey is that it is a humectant:
A humectant is something that helps the skin retain moisture and draws moisture from the air.
When we are doing shows with Thentix, we have people put a small amount on their hands (you don’t need a lot) and then walk around for an hour or so. We also ask them to wash their hands in that time. You will find, when doing this, that the skin on your hands will feel as soft or softer after washing them. This is because the honey helps draw the moisture into the skin. Most hand creams and hand lotions rely on oils but what the skin needs is water.
Honey is the main ingredient of Thentix. The honey and other ingredients such as chamomile and calendula also have antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties which will help protect any cuts and scratches that you get while digging in the garden.
