Grapeseed Oil Massage

July 30, 2009

Any number of oils can be used for massage.  Grapeseed oil is wonderful for this as it has almost no odor and being a light oil it is not greasy – it has a very fine, silky texture.  For anyone with nut allergies it is safe to use – grapeseed oil is non-allergenic.  It makes a good substitute for almond oil.  If this is not an issue, it can also be mixed with other oils. Calgary Stampede Numbers down…

July 20, 2009

Calgary Stampede attendance numbers were way down this year but we had fun anyway!  From what I heard it was attributed to ‘the economy” and the passport situation.  Something like 80% of Americans don’t have a passport??  I’m also quite certain that if the media did not promote the ‘recession’ quite so enthusiastically that it would not be nearly as bad.  Who ‘needs to know’ or be reminded hourly how bad things are or can get.  (That’s my mini-rant for the day.)

We introduced the Leather Mate/Urad to the Calgary Stampede this year along with our Thentix: A Touch of Honey.  Our numbers were off but as someone said “Not every year can be a stellar year.”  The leather cleaner and conditioner was well received.  There are other products for leather at the show but although they waterproof well they leave a dull and somewhat sticky finish.  If you saw us at the show and were not able to get one of these products you can order online by going to either our Thentix site or the Urad/LeatherMate site.

Thanks.
